A reckless driver in Calabar has crashed into hipped crates of beer in a beer parlor along Marian road after Fiesta fries, the incident occurred today Tuesday 30th March, 2021.
A witness told our correspondence that the driver was on a high speed as he approached the Atekong junction where traffic warders always stand, he tried to avoid vehicles which were ahead of him, but went out of control and crashed into the beer parlor.
“The driver of the vehicle was on speed, when he got to Fiesta fries, he tried to avoid other vehicles before him, but went out of control and ran into the beer parlor where fishes are also sold” he said.
Crates of drinks worth huge amount of money was destroyed, the vehicle was also badly damaged. At the time of filing this report, the victims who were badly injured had been rushed to the hospital for medical attention.
Reckless driving is one of the greatest cause of road accident and it is advisable that every road user maintain a moderate speed limits as prescribed by the Nigerian Road Safety Commission.
