Not less than three police
officers have lost their lives in an attack in Enugu.
The attack was executed along Obeagu-Amechi in Enugu South Local
Government and Amagunze in Nkanu East Local Government Area of the state while
the police officers were on duty on Wednesday night.
The attackers also burnt the
police patrol vehicle.
The police spokesperson in the state Daniel Ndukwe who confirmed the incident stated that preliminary investigations have been initiated and further development will be communicated.
