The Nigeria Council of Legal Education has made it known that the
number of Nigerians who failed the bar examination which was conducted in March
this year summed up to 1,325.
Out of
the 5770 candidates in attendance at the examination, 4350 were successful while
35 persons had conditional passes.
In a statement from the Law School sighted by sources on Wednesday
indicated that 75 percent success was recorded in the examination.
The Director
General of the Law School, Professor Isa Hayatu Chioma in statement signed by
her, indicated that the yearly call to bar for the fresh lawyers will be
conducted on July 27, 28 and 29.
Chioma,
a Professor of law further added in the statement that against the ideal International
Conference Center in Abuja, the call to bar for the new lawyers will be held at
the Eagle Square also in Abuja.
“The call to bar for new lawyers will be held at the Eagles Square
in Abuja as against the ideal International Conference Centre also in Abuja”
She said.
