Another Veteran Nollywood actor, filmmaker Sam Obiago aka Daddy Sam is dead.
This was confirmed by the chairman of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN Emeka Rollas and some of his fellow actors who expressed their shock on social media.
One of his colleagues revealed that he has been sick, “He has been ill for a while now. So yesterday he started feeling very ill and he was rushed to the hospital at midnight. He gave up in the early hours of today.” he said.

Before his death Obiago was the chairman of Screen Writers Guild of Nigeria (SWGN) and has featured in over 100 Nollywood movies.

Sam Obiago featured in the following movies, Altar Of Love, Wishes, Ancient Love, Drunk Princess, The Missing Blood, Obed And Ruth, The Visitor, Osinachi, One Night Stand, Throne Of Fire, Ancient Key, Wicked Tradition, The Love of Father and Daughter, A Poison to the Heart and Grievous Oath, among others.
