Fire has gutted a section of the popular Ogbe-Ijoh Market in Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State on Sunday.
Ogbe-Ijoh Market is recognised for being one of the biggest fish markets across Nigeria.

However, residents and shop owners were seen running helter skelter in their bid to salvage what they could lay their hands upon.
Fire fighters from the Delta State Fire Service later came in to put off the raging fire before it could escalate to other sections of the market.

The Police Public Relations Officer for Delta State Command, DSP Bright Edafe, could not be reached for comments on the market fire incident.
