A yet-to-be-identified man has lost his life after his Toyota RAV 4 rammed into a moving truck in Ogun State.
BHG-InfoDesk learnt that the sad incident happened at Ogere axis, along the Lagos-Ibadan highway on Thursday.
The car, marked LSR 991 FA, was on its way to Ibadan when the driver reportedly lost control due to over-speeding and crashed into a Howo truck with registration number KTU 419 XR, from behind.
The Ogun State Public Relations Officer of the Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE), Mr. Babatunde Akinbiyi, confirmed the incident to newsmen in Abeokuta.
According to Akinbiyi, the accident was caused by too much speeding on the part of the SUV driver, saying “he rammed the vehicle into a slow moving Howo truck from behind.”
He added that his body, as the lone occupant of the vehicle, was deposited at the FOS Morgue at Ipara Remo, Ogun State.
