Cross River State Newmap under the leadership of digital Governor, Prof Ben Ayade, earlier today presented waste bins to two of the completed erosion sites to the people of Ikot Anwatim and the people of Ikot Ekpo communities all in Calabar Municipal.
The acting project coordinator Dr Inyang Asibong, encouraged the communities to embrace the good work done by the amiable Governor Senator Ben Ayade.
She appealed to the entire communities to make use of the bins and charge them to stop the dumping of refuse on the just concluded project.
The acting project coordinator, spoke through Mr Francis Agaba, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on NEWMAP, charging both communities to take advantage of the bins and ensure their environment is kept clean and green most especially now that life has been restored to the people.
The community's Chief and the leaders of the various communities thanked the Governor for this wonderful initiative done to them and promised to make sure their environment is maintained clean.
To this end, they applauded the Governor for bringing life back to those affected communities.
