Joy and overwhelming ecstasy filled the people of Cross River State Central Senatorial District as a Frontline gubernatorial aspirant, Distinguished Sen. Gershom Bassey in his usual act of benevolence and display of love for all, extended his serial empowerment scheme to the PDP Chapter Chairmen in the Central Senatorial district by donating mini Buses to ease their daily routines.
The Chapter Chairman of Abi LGA, Comr. Victor Bassey awed by the gesture, thanked the Senator immensely for his unflinching and unwavering empowerment schemes that have been extended to the people of Cross River Central.
Comr. Victor Bassey in his remarks described the senator as a true leader and representative whom God has ordained to lead the people of Cross River State.
The Chairman went ahead with other PDP faithful in the central and described the senator as one of the best leader Cross River State and South has had as his benevolence extends beyond his senatorial district.
The Chairman assured the senator, that the central is with him and will continue to support him and pray for God's Grace to keep the Senator in doing good to the people he is serving and outside his senatorial district.
Presenting the Buses to the beneficiaries on behalf of the Senator, Akparawa Joe Ben, a PDP Chieftain who represented the senator said “This is one of the ways Sen Gershom Bassey is used to encourage party leaders to remain focused and steadfast “.
