The Clims Show is a students' climate change conference aimed at changing the negative impact of climate change in our world, by teaching young people the dangers of Climate Change and helping them commit to safeguarding our planet.
The Clims Show is convened by Ubong Usoro a final year geography student of the University of Uyo, this is the third edition of the Clims Show.
As part of activities to mark this year's Clims Show, members of Citizens Climate Lobby, University of Uyo chapter, partnered with Biodiversity Preservation Center, Uyo to cleanup Uyo, and pickup plastic waste in Uyo, the capital of Akwa Ibom State in Nigeria.
Activities continue tomorrow as we will be organizing a tree planting exercise in Itu LGA of Akwa Ibom State, and will end on Friday with the hosting of the biggest students climate change conference in Uyo.
