It was amazing how gloriously the amiable national women leader of the All Progressives Congress, Dr. Betta Edu was received upon her arrival at Calabar.
This was evidenced by a massive turnout of well-wishers and party faithful at the airport.
An unbelievable large number of women waited patiently from the early hours of the day till 5 pm when we arrived at the cultural centre.
Thought that was it for the day until we found ourselves again amid another awaiting multitude at the State party office.
Words aren't enough to describe the height of the Accolades showered on our leader. It can only mean that we the APC women have found for ourselves a jewel, a personality of repute, a rare gem, a stallion, an amazon, a glass ceiling breaking queen and most importantly a God-fearing young amazon.
To top it all, the digital result-driven Governor, His Excellency Sen. Ben Ayade at the dinner organized in honour of his daughter Dr. Betta at the Government House Banquet Hall, described our leader as one in a million, the daughter in whom he and his dear wife are well pleased, a loyalist beyond human beliefs and that his wife was the one who called and insisted with him that no other person but Dr. Betta is fit to represent them and the Nigerian Women at the National and despite all challenges, she kept encouraging him to hold unto their choice and she also personally joined him at the Eagle square to join forces with him to advocate for their daughter until victory was achieved to the Glory of God.
He especially appreciated our wonderful Deputy women leader Antie Zainab for standing and holding their daughter as a sister for the collective good of all women.
It was an epoch-making, memorable and impressive outing to the Glory of God.
Women that accompanied Her Majesty include
