JUST IN: Police charges four Chrisland School Teachers To Court Over Viral Video

Lagos state police command has arraigned four teachers of Chrisland Schools to court over a viral video showing some pupils of the school engaging in immoral acts.

The teachers brought before a Magistrate Court sitting in the Yaba area of Lagos State were said to have accompanied some pupils of Chrisland to the World School Games in Dubai.

Recall that some pupils from the elite private school located in Victoria Garden City, Lagos were seen in a viral video engaging in an immoral act when they embarked on a trip to Dubai to participate in the World School Games between March 10 and 13, 2022.

After the incident, the school management suspended a female student indefinitely, stating that she was “a major actor” in an “immoral act”.

The development has generated a lot of controversies, especially on social media. Some quarters believed that the parents of the girl involved in the said act should be blamed for failing to train the child uprightly, while others claimed the school management should face the law for allowing such a thing to happen under its watch.

While the event unfolded, the Lagos State Government who had initially ordered the school to be closed on April 23, 2022, subsequently reopened it.

The government said the school’s Parent Teachers Association would be working on scheduled psychosocial support for the students involved in the immoral act.
