Deuel Orok is calling on well-meaning individuals to help him raise over N10M (Ten Million Naira ) funds needed to settle part of his hospital bill and transport fare back to Nigeria.
Recall that some months ago, Deuel Orok left Nigeria for Dubai to commence treatment after the Cross River State Government gave him N15M ( Fifteen Million Naira) as support to aid his treatment.
Narrating his ordeal, the young pilot (in training) said the family have used up all their savings and contributions to the treatment.
Currently, Orok has been discharged from the hospital. His Visa will expire on August 24, 2022.
This, therefore, means that he is supposed to leave Dubai before the expiry date.
According to Orok, the money to pay for the total hospital bill is roughly N19M ( Nineteen Million Naira). But the hospital has requested that he pays at least N10M ( Ten Million Naira) as an initial deposit before leaving for Nigeria.
He also mentioned that the hospital has agreed that he can pay the balance while in Nigeria.
However, Orok is calling on well-meaning Nigerians to support him with funds, so he can leave Dubai before his Visa expires.
Recall that, following complaints of trapped funds in Nigeria, the United Arab Emirates, UAE, flag carrier, Emirates Airlines, says effective September 1, it would stop flight operations in and out of Nigeria.
This is another reason why Orok is seeking financial support so he can return to Nigeria. Attached is a video of him soliciting support.
