Cross River State Governor, His Excellency, Senator Professor Ben Ayade, CON, will on Thursday, May 18, 2023 witness the graduation ceremony of the Construction and Fabrication Academy of West Africa, Calabar.
His Excellency who is the Special Guest of Honour at the occasion will be attending with other dignitaries, including the state State Deputy Governor, Prof Ivara Edu, the Governor-elect, Prince Senator Bassey Otu, the Honourable Speaker of the CRSHA and members of the CRSHA, Members of the State Executive Council, State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and his EXCO, Special Advisers and other categories of appointees.
According to a statement issued by the Commissioner for Youths' Development and Skills Acquisition, Signor Omang Idiege, fcaii (Ada Bekwarra ll), over 155 Graduands of the Academy are to be presented with training certificates in various fields ranging from welding, plumbing, masonry, Electrical, ICT, Refrigeration/Air Conditioning and painting etc during the ceremony, located along the Murtala Mohammed Highway, Calabar, (besides Zenith Bank) by 9am prompt.
Parents, Graduands, well-wishers and youth leaders are expected to be seated before the arrival of their excellencies to grace this epoch-making ceremony.
The Construction and Fabrication Academy of West Africa which made its debut in 2021, was established by His Excellency, Governor Ben Ayade, to provide skilled manpower and employment opportunities for the teeming youths of the state and sub-region.
