The President of the Federal Republic Of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari has hailed the Nigerian Hilda Bassey Effiong (Hilda Baci) for making history by breaking the world record for the longest cooking marathon.
Buhari who stated that it is a great day for Nigeria, congratulated Hilda Baci on his official Twitter handle @MBuhari on Monday, 15th May 2023.
He further revealed that Hilda's drive, ambition and resilience have brought great interest and insight into the uniqueness of Nigerian food, adding that she is now a cultural icon.
Also, he encouraged other young people in Nigeria and beyond to draw inspiration from this great feat accomplished by Hilda.
