The Central Bank of Nigeria, on behalf of the Federal Government, has once again adjusted the exchange rate for cargo clearance to N1,605/$.
This increase follows recent adjustments that saw the rate rise to N1,515/$ before settling at N1,472/$. Since January, the rate has been adjusted several times, starting from N952/$ in December and moving to N1,356/$, then to N1,413/$, and later to N1,444/$, before reaching the current rate of N1,605/$.
A check on the Nigeria Customs Service portal confirmed the new rate on Wednesday.
