Isaac Omodewu, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, has died in the United States.
It was earlier reported that Omodewu traveled to the U.S. in November 2023 for medical treatment.
After nearly a year of battling an undisclosed illness, Omodewu, a U.S. citizen, sadly passed away while receiving care.
Confirming the news, the state’s APC Publicity Secretary, Olawale Sadare, simply stated, "Our chairman is dead."
