People will never know what it feels like to be in someone else's place until they find themselves in similar circumstances.
Be empathetic, put yourself in their shoes.
Try stepping out from where you are and picture yourself viewing life from that person's angle.
That person who is finding it hard to be confident. That person whom everyone is pushing around. That person who keeps making mistakes That person who is yet to marry of whom everyone else is giving their opinions on why they are single. That person who is living every day with an illness that embarrasses him.
Once upon a time, there were truths about life we knew nothing about. Even Moses, after 40 days and nights in God's presence was yet to realize he needed to have sub-judges under him to judge Israel. It was his father-in-law who gave him that counsel which he applied.
Therefore, God uses men to help men. Rather than making comments about them or keeping your distance choose to help. Imagine what life is like if you were living their lives, draw nearer and tune your words to minister grace and light to them. Let your actions prove that you desire the best for them.
If you are interviewing a group of people for a role, while hiring the confident one you could develop a rapport with the other who is quite shy and show him how he can be confident too. All within an atmosphere of kindness and love not pride and arrogance. As long as they let you in and open up to you, you can.
It's time to scrap the belief that everyone has their problems and be intentional about caring for others around us.
Remember, we never asked to be saved but God brought salvation anyway. They may not ask for help, but if you can and they are willing to give you way, then why not? Many will appreciate such good gestures.
Be empathetic, put yourself in their shoes.
