Governor Otu Appoints 8-Member Team for State Electoral Commission

Governor Bassey Otu has named eight people to form the Cross River State Independent Electoral Commission (CROSIEC). 

According to a statement from his Chief Press Secretary, Gill Nsa, on August 15, 2024, the appointed members include 

• Mr. Ekong Edet Bocco as Chairman 
• Dr. Lawrence Edu, Esq as Secretary. 

Other Members are;

• Mrs. Rose Banku Atep, 
• Mr. Adoga Joseph Ipuole, 
• Eutendala Eno, 
• Barrister Daniel Edet, 
• Dr. Eyo Otu Eyo, and 
• Jerry Adie Akabisong. 

The appointments are pending confirmation by the State House of Assembly.
