President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, for a three-day official visit at the invitation of President Teodoro Mbasogo. His Gulfstream aircraft landed at Saint Isabel Airport at 2:07 pm local time, where he was welcomed by the Equatorial Guinean Prime Minister, Mrs. Manuela Roka Botey.
During this visit, President Tinubu will meet with President Mbasogo at the Presidential Villa to discuss key issues and sign agreements focusing on oil, gas, and security. This marks Tinubu’s first official visit to Equatorial Guinea and the seventh African country he has visited since taking office 15 months ago.
So far, Tinubu has visited 22 foreign countries, including multiple trips to France and the UK, as well as visits to the United States, Saudi Arabia, Germany, and others. He is accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar, and other members of his cabinet, who will participate in the agreement signings and explore ways to strengthen bilateral relations.
