Engr. Professor Akeke is a well-respected figure in the engineering world. He is a Fellow of both the Nigerian Institution of Civil Engineers and the Nigerian Society of Engineers. As a Professor of Civil Engineering, he spent years teaching at the Cross River University of Technology, Calabar, where he trained and mentored future engineers. His dedication to education has positively impacted many students who now contribute to society.


After his academic career, Engr. Professor Akeke continued to serve the public by joining the Cross River State Civil Service. He rose to the position of Director of Civil at the Ministry of Works and later became the Permanent Secretary. This rich experience has given him a clear understanding of the infrastructure and development needs of Obudu.


What sets Engr. Professor Akeke apart is not just his impressive career but his humility and strong desire to serve the people of Obudu.
