Dangote Refinery has reduced the price of petrol (Premium Motor Spirit) to N899.50 per litre to ease costs for Nigerians during the festive season.
This announcement was made by Anthony Chiejina, the Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer of Dangote Group, on Thursday.
The refinery, Africa’s first privately-owned oil facility, had earlier reduced the price to N970 per litre on November 24. The latest cut is aimed at reducing transportation expenses during the holidays.
Chiejina also announced a special offer: for every litre bought with cash, customers can get an additional litre on credit with a bank guarantee from Access Bank, First Bank, or Zenith Bank.
The refinery thanked Nigerians for their support and reaffirmed its commitment to providing quality and eco-friendly fuel. It also highlighted its role in reducing the country’s reliance on low-quality imported fuel that harms health and the environment.
