A minibus has crashed into a Dunamis Church sign post along Marian Road in Calabar, opposite the former Mr. Fans. The incident occurred this morning at about 11:00 AM.
An eyewitness said the minibus was driving along Marian Road and lost control, veering off onto the pedestrian walkway before crashing into the Dunamis signpost. According to an eyewitness from the scene of the accident, the driver lost control of the vehicle before hitting the signpost.
The eyewitness also noted that the POS girl, who sits at the spot to ply her trade, was not around at the scene of the accident. "She had not yet come around when the crash happened," the witness said, relieved nobody was injured around that spot.
The minibus had major damage from the crash, but reports indicate that the driver was in a position to get out of the bus without serious injury.
This incident has raised concerns about road safety along Marian Road, with residents calling for increased monitoring and adherence to traffic rules to prevent similar accidents in the future.
