Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has approved the promotion of 8,476 primary and junior secondary school teachers.
The Executive Chairman of Edo State Universal Basic Education, Onomen Briggs, said the move recognizes teachers' hard work and aims to improve education quality in the state.
She added that the governor is committed to education reforms and ensuring timely promotions. The promotions, covering 2022 to January 2024, are expected to boost teachers’ morale and career growth.
