In a significant diplomatic engagement, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio met with United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi. The meeting underscored the robust and enduring U.S.-UAE strategic partnership, characterized by strong economic ties, defense cooperation, and shared regional interests.
Secretary Rubio expressed his appreciation for the strength of the bilateral relationship and highlighted the mutual interests in maintaining regional stability. The discussions emphasized the UAE's notable advancements in cutting-edge technology, particularly in artificial intelligence (AI) and quantum computing. The Secretary conveyed his desire to further enhance the economic bonds between the two nations.

Secretary Rubio also took the opportunity to visit the Abrahamic Family House, marking his first visit to the significant cultural and religious site.
